Send writing up to 150 words on the theme of 'islands'

Any kind of creative writing – short stories, poetry, flash fiction, graphic stories, snippets of memoir - is welcomed, as are illustrations and photographs. The only restrictions are a word limit of 150 and that any combination of words and images should fit into an A6 panel.

The A3 Review is a fold-out literary and art journal, published every six month, from Writing Maps.

Two monthly winners will be published in The A3 Review and receive Writing Maps goodies. The overall winners of The A3 Review's September to February contests will win prizes of £150, £100 and £50.

The entry fee is $5 per submission. The closing date for islands-themed work is 24 September.
