Entries are invited on the theme of 'the journey,' and the proceeds go to support the rehabilitation of wounded service personnel
This is the second year that the prize, which raises money to support wounded servicemen and women, has run. This year Words for the Wounded is supporting the Creative Arts Unit at Help for Heroes' Tedworth House Recovery Centre.
Entries may be up to 400 words, and may be fiction, poetry or true-life stories. There is a first prize of £250, a second prize of £100 and a third prize of £50.
Writers may enter the competition online or by email.
There is a £4.50 entry fee.
The closing date is tomorrow, 11 March.
