The Bookseller's annual award is given for the year's oddest book title
This year's winner, voted for by the public, is a loo book for people who haven't grown out of lavatory humour: How to Poo on a Date: The Lovers' Guide to Toilet Etiquette by Mats & Enzo (Prion Press).
The Bookseller's Horace Bent said: 'The public have chosen wisely. Not only have they picked a title that truly captures the spirit of the prize, they have selected a manual that can help one through life’s more challenging and delicate moments.'
The 2012 winner was Cooking with Poo by Thai chef Saiyudd Diwong.
The Diagram Prize was first awarded in 1978, to Proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Nude Mice. WM thinks this title is infinitely odder, and invites much more curiosity, than that of the current winner.
