The social media site for horse lovers invites entries for the Equestrian Short Story Competition
The competition is being run by Haynet and Lavender & White Equestrian Publishing. It is for short stories with an equestrian theme, up to 6,500 words. Stories may be in any genre, but should be equestrian-themed, ie a crime story, fantasy or romance with a horsey background, rather than a story about a particular horse.
The winning story will be published as an ebook, with all proceeds going to the equine charity World Horse Welfare, and the winner will get a Haynet hoody. Two runners up will be published on the Haynet and Lavender & White Equestrian Publishing websites.
There is no fee for entry.
The closing date is 11 August.
