Bursaries are available for cash-strapped writers who would like to attend the Winchester Writers' Festival
The Winchester Writers' Festival, which takes place between 19 and 21 June and is a highlight of the creative writing year, has £50 bursaries available.
To apply, writers should email the following information by the closing date of 17 April:
• Your writing experiences
• Classes you have attended
• Writing organisations to which you belong
• Writing successes
• Your objectives in attending the festival and your reasons for applying
All applicants will receive a response by 21 April, at which point successful applicants can book any festival package at a reduced rate.
