Free filmmaking course: Explore Filmmaking from Script to Screen

FutureLearn's free online six-week course comes from the National Film and Theatre School and the BFI Film Academy
During Explore Filmmaking, acclaimed film industry practitioners including Mike Figgis, Nik Powell, Detiny Ekharaga, Corin Hardy, Justine Wright and Danny Hambrook will look at approaches to storytelling though film and take course participants through their own film-making specialisms. Filmmakers will use their own work as examples as well as the films that inspired them.
The course is designed to deepen participants' understanding of the filmmaking process and show them how to take it further.
Filmmaking skills are not required. The free online six-week course entails participation of three hours per week.
The start date is 2 February.
