Edited by poet and former editor of The Poetry Review Sampson, the first issue of POEM is due on 24 January

POEM: International English Language Quarterly will feature new work from world-class international poets. The launch issue includes original poetry from Sean O'Brien, Michael Symmons Roberts and Robin Robinson, a memoir from Elaine Feinstein and an interview with Paul Muldoon.

It will include new work by emerging poets.

More than thirty people are on POEM's advisort board, including Andrew Motion, Don Paterson and John Burnside.

Fiona Sampson edited Poetry Review for seven years before resigning from the Poetry Society earlier this year.
