Write an alternative ending for your favourite film for a chance to win £2,000
There are five entry categories:
• Best comedy or rom-com
• Best action and adventure
• Best fantasy, sci-fi or horror
• Best family or animation
• Best drama or thriller
There are two runner-up prizes of £250 and two further entrants from each of the five categories will receive Blu-ray box sets.
To enter The Alties, write a 750-word alternative ending to a film, plus a brief (100-word maximum) description of the plot so far to set the scene. Entrants must also write a blog post about the competition.
The closing date is 4 September.
