The competition is for poems of up to 40 lines
The York Literature Festival/YorkMix Poetry Competition prizes are £250 for the winner, £100 for the second prize and £50 for the third prize. There is also a York prize of £40 for the best poem from a York postcode.
Poems will be judged by poet Carole Bromley (pictured).
The closing date is 28 February.
York Literature Festival will take place between 20 and 31 March.
