Sponsored by Kobo and Curtis Brown Creative, the contest is for 100-word short stories in any genre.

20 semi-finalists will be selected by the Kobo team and judge Jeffrey Archer will chose three finalists, who will be asked to submit a 3,000-word extract of their novel-in-progress. These will be judged by Curtis Brown Creative. Each semi-finalst will receive written feedback, and the overall winner will be awarded free enrolment in an online Curtis Brown novel-writing course.

The closing date is 15 February.

Jeffrey Archer will be sharing his writing advice with Writing Magazine in the April issue.
