The winner will be published in leading sci-fi journal Interzone, and get £200
Named in honour of sci-fi writer James White, author of the Sector General series, who died in 1999, the competition is for original, unpublished stories up to 6,000 words by non-professional writers. All entries must be science fiction.
Entry is free. Each writer may submit only one entry.
The winner of the James White Award will be announced at Satellite 4, Eastercon 2014, during the BSFA awards ceremony.
The closing date is 31 January.
