The winner of the new biennial award will also have a guaranteed production of their play at Theatre503
Playwrights submitting for the award should not have a full-length professional production credit (ie for a play that has had a run of three weeks or more and that has received national press coverage).
Writers may submit one full-length (60 mins stage time), original, unproduced play.
Writers may also apply for the 503Five, which is a 18-month resident writer training programme for developing playwrights that includes a full-length play commission.
Applications for Theatre503's Playwriting Award and the 503Five may be made between 1 and 31 March.
