Salon North is presenting a special Downton-themed event on 26 October
Salon North: The World of Downton Abbey will feature Jessica Fellowes, Julian Fellowes' niece and the author of The World of Downton Abbey and Chronicles of Downton Abbey, looking at Great Britain through the prism of the series and explaining how the characters and storylines explore social history.
Jessica will be joined by Ellen Loudon, who will be discussing the music of the period, and Lucinda Hawkesley, who will be talking about the women's movement.
Salon North: The World of Downton Abbey, which is part of the inaugural Harrogate History Festival, will take place at 8.30pm at the Swan Hotel. Tickets are £12.
