Don't forget the First Fictions festival with Ian Rankin next weekend

First Fictions launches next Friday (20 January) with a programme of events celebrating first-time novelists, past and present

Ian Rankin will be one of the authors appearing, with a exclusive reading from his unpublished first novel.

The festival will take place at the University of Sussex bewwen Friday and Sunday 22. It is being run by Brighton-based independent publishers Myriad Editions, and will include the annoucement of the winner of Myriad Edition's first graphic novel competition.
