This is the second year running that Guardian readers have voted a poetry collection onto the Guardian First Book Award longlist, having previously nominated Pelt, by Sarah Jackson.
One book on the list is nominated by readers.
The other nine longlisted titles will be announced later in the summer, and the £10,000 winner will be announced in December.
