The cult US writer's forthcoming publication is a monologue printed on a shower curtain
The shower curtain printed with Eggers' work is the first edition of 2012 of The Thing Quarterly, a periodical which takes the form of an object and invites contributing artists to create an object/edition that somehow incorporates text. Previous issues have been printed as maps, newspapers and advertisements. The Dave Eggers edition takes the form of a monologue told to Dave by his shower curtain.
The Dave Eggers issue (No 16) is currently available for pre-order. It is printed on a 72" x 72" shower curtain, and can be bought as a single issue for $65 or as part of an annual subscription, which costs $200.
