Could you be the next A.A. Dhand? Up to ten budding Northern crime writers can win a chance to be published authors

Bestselling crime writer and WM cover star A.A. Dhand launched City of Sinners, the third in his hard-hitting Harry Virdee series, at Bradford Literature Festival. As part of the launch celebrations, the Northern Noir competition invites unpublished crime writers from the North of England to submit the first 5,000 words of a novel.

Up to ten winners will be offered places on an Arvon Foundation course, and will receive personal tuition from A.A. Dhand and his agent, Simon Trewin.

The competition opens today, and closes on 5 August.
