The US literary journal invites worldwide submissions in response to a prompt
The winter prompt is: George pressed the call button and said, "Mrs Whitfield, you have a visitor."
All stories must be written with the first line provided. Stories may be in any genre, and between 300 and 5,000 words.
Accepted stories are paid $25-$50.
Include a two-three sentence biography with all submissions.
The closing date for The First Line's winter prompt is 1 November.
