A Word in Your Ear is inviting 1980s-themed submissions for the next Story Friday live event in January
The 1980s-themed Story Friday ties in with a weekend of 1980s films curated by Kilter Theatre and screened at the Salisbury Club in Bath, near Burdall's Yard where Story Friday takes place.
Stories and monologues are invited from writer-performers. Stories should be no longer than 2,000 words. There is no minimum length. Writers should bear in mind that all accepted stories will be read aloud
Writers should be available to attend the event on 9 January but if they prefer not to read their work, stories can be read by professional actors.
All submissions should be sent to A Word in Your Ear by 29 December.
There is no payment for writers.
