New short story website pennyshorts.com is inviting submissions for its April launch
Original short stories of all genres by published and unpublished authors are accepted by editor Catherine Horlick, and also life writing and memoir. Catherine is not prescriptive about length, but wants short stories with a recognisable narrative arc rather than flash fiction. She is also happy to look at novellas.
All accepted stories will be professionally edited before appearing on the site.
Pennyshorts.com readers will be able to download stories to their device, including smartphones. An annual subscription will be £20 and individual stories will each cost 50p. Writers will receive 50% the profit of their download and retain copyright at all times.
Stories should be formatted in 12pt Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing, with no spaces between paragraphs.
Submit by email.
