365 responses will be published online to link International Women's Day in 2016 and 2017

The Dangerous Women Project, from the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Edinburgh, is asking the question: 'What does it mean to be a dangerous woman?'

Submissions may take various forms, including essay, story, memory, poetry, comic, infographic, video. Text submissions should be no longer than 2,000 words. Subjects may be historical, biographical, contemporary, research-based or fictional, but must all link clearly to the theme of the Dangerous Women project.

Accepted submissions will receive an honorarium of £50.
