Send stories on 'The Ninth Planet' for this year's sci-fi-themed festival

'In time for WoW’s sci-fi themed 2016 Festival, astronomers have discovered a mysterious new world on the outer edges of our solar system. Ten times bigger than Earth, it’s been called The Ninth Planet, which funnily enough, is the Theme for our 2016 Flash Fiction Competition...,' writes WoW.

WoWFest 2016 will take place in Liverpool from 1 to 28 May.

Submit stories up to 3,000 characters (approx 500 words) through the online submissions system. Each writer may submit up to three stories, and writers are asked not to submit any offensive material. All submissions will be uploaded to the site once they have been approved by the WoW team.

Winners will be announced by Dirk Maggs at his event on 5 May at Liverpool Central Library.

The deadline is 24 April.
