The new Irish literary journal has its first submissions window open for stories, essays, flash fiction and poetry
Banshee invites short stories and essays between 1,500 and 5,000 words, flash fiction under 1,000 words and poems no longer than 40 lines. All submissions must be unpublished. Writers are asked to submit in only a single category, but may send up to two stories or essays, up to four flashes and up to eight poems.
Banshee offers a small fee and a copy of the journal. The first issue of Banshee will be published in September.
The closing date for this submissions window is 31 March.
