A Story for a Slave is a website devoted to the abolition of modern-day slavery. All proceeds from the site, which publishes fiction, non-fiction, young adult and children's literature and poetry, author interviews and up-to-date news on the site's key concerns, are donated to anti-trafficking organisations.
Submissions may be, but do not have to be, on human trafficking, as A Story for a Slave wants to entertain as well as inform.
Prose pieces may be 500 to 1,500 words and poets may submit 1-5 poems. Payment is approx 5p per word and £5-£25 for poetry.
