The free-entry competition is for Surrey residents who have not previously been published
Enter original, unpublished short stories up to 1,000 words.
The competition is being run by Surrey Life magazine in association with Guildford Book Festival. Bestselling author Adele Parks is among the judges. Shortlisted writers will be invited to attend the launch of the festival in October, when the winner will be announced.
Entry is free.
