Literary magazine The Wild Hunt is celebrating its fifth year with its first short story competition

The Wild Hunt is an online literary magazine that celebrates the weird, surreal, other and imaginary worlds.

There are first and second prizes of £200 and £100 and online publication. The judge is Helen McCrory. A runner up will receive online publication and a copy of Helen’s new novel, Bitterhall.

Entries should be original, unpublished short fiction (flash fiction and short stories) between 500 and 3,000 words that embrace The Wild Hunt’s ethos.

The entry fee is £4 per story.

The closing date is 9 March.
