Win a first prize of $1,500 in the competition for prose writing up to 400 words
The biennial competition is for fiction, non-fiction and hybrid narratives. All entries should be prose, not poetry.
The winner will receive $1,500. The second-placed entry will receive $500, and the third-placed, $300. The finalists will each get $100 and all the winning and finalist entries will be published in the December 2023 edition of SmokeLong Quarterly.
The entry fee is $13 for two and $19 for three.
Entries close on 10 November.
