The winners will be recorded as an audiobook by Austen narrator Alison Larkin

The competition is for original, unpublished short stories on the theme of 'Connection'. Stories may be between 1,000 and 2,000 words and do not have to relate to Jane Austen in any way.

The winner and two runners up will be recorded as an audiobook. Winners and five highly commended entries will be published as an ebook. All proceeds will go to support the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation.

Entry is free. Each writer may submit one story.
