Win an Arvon course in Stylist magazine's competition to celebrate Daphne du Maurier
In October, Virago Modern Classics will release four Daphne du Maurier short story collections: The Birds, Breaking Point, The Doll and The Rendezvous.
To celebrate, Stylist magazine has teamed up with Virago to run a creative writing competition for gothic-themed short stories by women. Stories may be up to 2,000 words.
The winner's story will be published on the Virago website and in Stylist, and the winner will receive a 2017 Arvon course (worth at least £600) and copies of the four new du Maurier collections.
The competition is free to enter. The closing date is 14 September.
