The competition from Ringwood Publishing is for writers with a connection to Scotland
The Ringwood 2022 Short Story Competition is an inclusive contest for stories from up-and-coming writers from all walks of life. It's open to writers based or formerly resident in Scotland, or who identify as Scottish.
The winner will receive £100 and the winning story, and up to two others, will be published online.
Enter original, unpublished short fiction up to 3,000 words.
The entry fee is £2 per story.
The closing date is 2 December.
