Creative writing prize: Retreat West Short Story Competition

WIn a £400 first prize for short stories up to 5,000 words

Enter original, unpublished stories between 1,500 and 5,000 words. The first prize if £400, and there second and third prizes of £250 and £150. Shortlisted writers each get £20. Winning and shortlisted writers will be published in the annual Reteat West anthology. This year's judge is Angela Readman.

The entry fee is £10 per story.

The closing date is 27 October.
