The ovarian cancer charity's first writing competition is for short stories on the theme of 'overcoming'
Enter original, unpublished short stories on the theme, up to 2,000 words. The 'overcoming' theme can be interpreted broadly and stories do not need to be related to health or ovarian cancer.
Ovacome's first creative writing competition is intended to raise awareness of ovarian cancer, and money for its support services.
The winner will get £250 and further prizes will be announced. The judging panel includes Lynne Truss, William Shaw and Matthew Collins.
