Louise Walters Books inaugural writing prize is for page 100 of an unpublished novel or novella
If the entry is a novella and doesn't reach 100 pages, send page 50 instead. The competition welcomes entries from any writer, from anywhere.
SIx shortlisted writers will be invited to submit the first three chapters or first 30 pages. The winner will receive an editorial report on their first three chapters and a 2020 Supporter Subscription. Two runners up will each receive a 2020 Supporter Subscription. Longlisted writers will get feedback on their entry.
The fee is £6 per entry.
The closing date is 29 September.
