Win £200 first prizes for short stories and flash fiction
The HISSAC Short Story Competition has categories for short fiction (up to 2,000 words) and flash fiction (up to 500 words).
In both categories the theme is open. Stories and writers don't need to have any connection to Scotland. All entries must be original and unpublished.
In each category the prizes are £200, £75 and £50.
Writers may enter short stories and flash fiction at the same time.
The entry fee is £5 for one, £12 for three and £18 for five.
