For the second year, Writing East Midlands is inviting entries for the Aurora Poetry and Short Fiction Competition


For the second year, Writing East Midlands is inviting entries for the Aurora Poetry and Short Fiction Open Competition
The first prize is £500, and there are second and third prizes of £100 and £50. There is also a Stonewood Press Regional Prize of £70 and a Writing East Midlands course.
The competition is for original, unpublished poems and short stories. Poems may be up to 40 lines and short stories, up to 2,000 words.
The entry fee is £7 for the first poem or short story, and £6 for any subsequent entries.
The closing date to enter the Aurora Poetry & Short Fiction Open Competition is 31 March.
