The annual short story award from the Society of Authors offers £2,000 to the winner
The ALCS Tom-Gallon Trust Award is for short stories up to 5,000 words by authors who have already had at least one short story published or accepted for publication. Stories submitted for the Award may be published or unpublished.
The winner will receive £2,000, the runner up £1,000 and up to four shortlisted authors, £500.
The closing date is 31 October.
