The new bursary will cover a fully paid place on Curtis Brown Creative's Three-Month Novel-Writing Course with Erin Kelly
The three-month course starts on 17 November. The fees, covered by this new bursary, are £1,800.
The HW Fisher Scholarship is a partnership between charted accountancy firm HW Fisher and Curtis Brown Creative. To be eligible, writers should have an annual (gross, pre-tax) income of under £20,000 and personal savings of less than £5,000 if single, and an annual (gross, pre-tax) income of under £26,500 and savings (jointly or individually) of less than £5,000 if cohabiting.
Applicants should apply for the Three-Month Novel-Writing Course with Erin Kelly in the usual way, which includes sending the first 3,000 words and a synopsis of a work in progress, and ensure they fill in the extra 'scholarship' section of the application form.
