The Irish litfest invites poetry, fiction and memoir on the theme of 'waves'
Write by the Sea will take place in Kilmore Quay in Spetember, and in keeping with the location's maritime traditions, Write by the Sea invites wave-themed entries.
There will be two category prizes of €250 and the overall winner will receive €500. Each category winner will receive a festival pass worth €110 and be invited to read their piece at the gala opening reception.
Enter short stories up to 3,000 words, memoir up to 3,000 words and poetry up to 40 lines.
The entry fee is €10 per entry or €25 for three.
The closing date is 10 July.
