Creative writing competitions: Nature

There are two nature writing competitions.

• Nature and Nurture is for short stories up to 1,500 words and poems up to 40 lines on the 'nature and nurture theme.' There are prizes of £50, £30 and £20 in each category. The entry fees are £3 for one of £5 for up to three. The closing date is 31 October.

• Walking in Nature is for short stories up to 1,500 words and poems up to 40 lines inspired by a walk in nature. The prizes are £50, £30 and £20. The entry fees are £3 for one and £5 for up to three. The closing date is 7 November.

All winners may be published in an anthology by Creative Mind Horwich.
