Tweet your plot summary in Holiday Cottages' contest to win a week's retreat in a British cottage

Tweet the plot of an unfinished novel to #WriTweet for the chance to win a week at one of three Holiday Cottages properties in a competition held in association with publishers Pan Macmillan. Bestselling author Elizabeth Macneal (pictured), author of The Doll Factory, will judge the competition.

The three cottages, all in landscapes with literary associations, are in East Sussex, Carmarthenshire and East Scotland. If the winner writes 10,000 words of their novel at their chosen cottage during the retreat, Elizabeth Macneal will provide feedback.

The prize includes travel to the retreat up to a cost of £1,000.

Only one tweet per person will be accepted.
