The Iceland Writers Retreat will take place in Reykjavik between 13 and 17 April 2016. To enter the competition, send a short story, essay or poem of no more than 500 words on the the theme 'Iceland – a land of storytelling.'
All entries must be original and unpublished.
The author of the winning entry will receive a delegate spot at the Iceland Writers Retreat including accommodation at the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura, and literary tours of Reykjavik and the Icelandic countryside. The prize does not include flights to and from Iceland.
The competition is free to enter.
The closing date is 13 November.
