Five unpublished adventure writers will be mentored to complete their novel
Submissions are invited for the 2023 Wilbur Smith New Voices Award
The competition is for commerically viable narrative fiction by unpublished, unrepresented authors.
Five selectd writers will be provided with editorial mentoring and guidance to develop their book from fledgeling idea to complete first draft over eight months. The finished manuscripts will be considered by Bonnier Books.
To enter, writers should submit the opening chapters (no more than 10,000 words) and a full plot outline (no longer than 1,000 words).
The entry fee is £30 per submission.
The closing date is 30 April.
