The winner will receive £1,000 and representation from Rachel Mills Literary
The competition from the Stylist magazine brand is for unpublished female novelists with original, innovative voices that resonate with readers and make sense of the world around us, regardless of genre, experience or age.
The first prize is £1,000 and guaranteed literary representation. Shortlisted writers will receive an hour of editorial consultancy and an introduction to how to submit to an agent. The judges are Viking publisher Katy Loftus, author Sara Collins, RML literary agent Nelle Andrew and Stylist editor in chief Lisa Smosarski.
To enter, writers should not have a publishing contract and must not be represented by a literary agent.
To enter, send the first three chapters or 50 pages of a titled novel manuscript, plus a full outline.
Entry is free.
