International entries are welcomed as long as the stories mention Australia
The annual Stringybark Short Story Awards are given for original, unpublished short fiction on any theme, as long as the story includes some reference to Australia. Stories must be for adults (16+) and may be any length up to 1,500 words.
The prizes are A$350, A£250 and A$125 plus publication and Stringybark books. Hihgly commended stories win publication and ebooks.
The entry fees are one story for A$14, two stories for A$26 and three for A$36.
