The new prize is intended to give story tellers a voice
Parracombe is is small community in Exmoor National Park that is home to creative people as well as traditional ways of hill-farming life.
The competition is for original, unpublished short stories no longer than 2,020 words.
There are first and second prizes of £100, £50 and two runner-up prizes of £25.
The entry fee is £5 per story.
The closing date is 31 January 2021.
