This year's contest from Norwich Writers' Circle is for short stories on the theme of 'Lost'

The seventh edition of the annual international contest has a first prize of £500, a second prize of £250 and a third prize of £100. The winners and the top seven shortlisted entries will be published in an anthology. The judge is Stephen Carver.

The theme has been chosen to reflect the lost rivers, landmarks and streets in the City of Norwich. Enter original, unpublished short stories up to 2,000 words on the 'Lost' theme. Stories may be in any genre, and do not have to mention Norwich.

The entry fee is £9 for one story and £7 each for two or more stories.
