The annual competition for emerging writers has a $3,000 first prize

The international competition is for original, unpublished stories up to 6,000 words by emerging writers. Self published writers, writers with story collections and writers with novels published with small circulations (under 5,000 copies) are welcome to enter.

The winner will receive $3,000, publication in The Masters Review and literary agency review. There are second and third place prizes of $300 and $200, publication and agency review. This year's guest judge is Kristen Arnett.

The entry fee is $20.

The closing date is 30 August 2021.
