The annual prize is open to any writer who has not been traditionally published
The Impress Prize for New Writers was created to champion unpublished talent, and accepts submission of both fiction and narrative non-fiction. The winner will receive £500 and the possibility of a publishing contract with an Untold Books imprint (Impress Books or Aelurus Books) for their manuscript.
To enter the competition, submit a book proposal n longer than 1,000 words, a synopsis f no more than 1,000 words and a sample chapter no longer than 6,000 words. To be eligible to enter, writers must not have been traditionally published, but may have self published.
There is a £25 entry fee.
The closing date is 13 September.
