The winner of the prize for unpublished novelists will win £1,000 and an introduction to literary agent Eve White

The Bluepencilagency Award is a new creative writing prize for unpublished authors from the editing and reading services agency.
The runner up will receive a four-night writing retreat at Retreats For You and an editorial report.
To enter, writers should be unpublished and unrepresented. Self-published writers may enter. Submit the first chapter up to 5,000 words, a 300-word synopsis and a covering letter. Work should be fiction aimed at adult readers.
There is a fee of £15 per entry. Writers may enter  more than one novel.
The closing date to enter the Bluepencilagency Award 2017 is 30 June. Shortlisted writers will be asked to submit up to 20,000 words by 8 September.
