Enter short fiction and poetry in the competition from Writing East Midlands
The winner in each category will receive £500, feedback from a literary agent or editor and a year's membership of The Society of Authors. Second-prize winners will receive £150 and third-prize winners will receive a one-day course of their choice from Writing School East Midlands. The judge for short stories will be Alison Moore, and for poetry, Malika Booker.
Enter original, unpublished short stories up to 2,000 words and poems up to 60 lines.
The entry fee is £9 for the first poem or story and £7 for any subsequent entries.
The closing date is 26 June.
